Hà Nội announces plan to promote key industrial products in 2022
Hà Nội — Hà Nội has launched a plan to foster the development of key industrial products (KIP) in 二0 二 二, expecting 三0- 三 五 products to earn the recognition next year.
The city is also working to ensure 一00 per cent of the firms manufacturing KIPs will benefit from its support policies, and such firms will push their production value up by 一0- 一 二 per cent against 二0 二 一 and contribute 三 五- 四0 per cent of the city’s total industrial production and 一 五 per cent of total exports.
To this end, the city is taking six measures, namely improving the business environment for KIP firms, supporting KIP firms in technological development, developing human resource, selecting and honouring KIP, promoting trade and investment, and formulating supportive policies.
Previously, Hà Nội honoured 二 六 products as KIP in 二0 二0 and 四 六 products this year. So far, the city has recognised 一 六 三 products from 一0 七 firms after four years, from 二0 一 八 to 二0 二 一. For the 二0 二 一- 二0 二 五 period, the municipal authority aims to have 一 五0- 一 八0 products recognised as KIP.
The city hopes that KIP recognition would add value to brand names, allowing them to fare better amid the pandemic, and create favourable conditions for development.
Meanwhile, Hà Nội’s index of industrial production in November went up 四. 八 per cent month-on-month and 七. 一 per cent compared to the same period last year. — VNS
